Converting to Drupal

I have a pligg based site that I have been using for a while but after a week of using drupal, I see great potential. This is kind of an oddball question but has anyone tried to convert a pligg based site to drupal, I know that hugg.com did just that and I got a tip that the vote up/down module will handle voting.

I guess, is there a way to transfer the existing data such as user accounts/links/number of votes and the whole thing over to drupal? Any ideas on where to start?

I want to create a music videos database. to categorize each of these videos I guess I will be using taxonomy (interpret, compositor ...). with cck, to add the taxonomy field to the node

I'm using NODE IMPORT to populate the database. the Composer field type is a CCK taxonomy. this way when I import the data I need to specify the "Composer tid" (witch I don't know) and not the Composer value. Please help. Sorry for my bad english

I have a PSD template, not sliced, and i have to slice it and make the template work on drupal.

Has anyone tried loading these XML nodes against XSL transformations in order to display the documents in XHTML?

Hi,

Im new to drupal.

I have created a php based content, which has a form with some input elements.
One of the element has a button to pick a date from a popup calendar.
Second element has a button to choose a color through a popup layer.

My problem is, when I put the php code in the drupal content through content page creater the popup are not comeing up in the right place near to the buttons. Both popups are shown on the bottom of the page. I think its an the end of the drupal template.

Hello I'm trying to convert an old html site to drupal and Im totally new to CMS.I've installed drupal via godaddy,but Im clueless on how to transfer this old site to drupal. I want users to have accounts,upload pictures,and files.Can someone take a look at this site http://loveandfaithministries.org/ and tell me whether not this can be a simple conversion or do i need to rebuild it from scratch?
