My question, as the subject says, is if it is possible to migrate from PHPbb to Drupal. I know that there is some code out there to control phpbb from within Drupal, but I would like to move all users and forum posts made in PHPbb into an identical structure to Drupal.
Ok, I'm a little frustrated. Granted, I'm slightly a noob at the Drupal thing, but have plenty of experience in other places, which is why I'm thinking I'm missing something small but important.
I'm trying to port over all of my content from an xoops powered site that uses phpBB as the forum. I have successfully moved the users and news articles over.
Hi all
I have created one site using drupal. My client wants to modify the content ( content only ) . When I took the node in edit mode ( like mysite/node/edit) I got all the editing properties in IE. but not in Firefox. I want to get only the tinymce editor in edit mode , because my client need only modify the content.
How can I get the edit mode with tinymce only?
What happend when I took the node in Firefox?
There is any possibilty to fix a button to get edit mode? instead type linkenode/edit?
How can I remove the 'Recent Comments' from my page?
I am converting my static website into Drupal. Can I develop in a new directory such as "root/newsite", then simply copy contents of the "newsite" folder into my root when ready to go live? I am sure I will need to update some paths, although is this possible?
Thanks!
Just looking into Drupal as a new method of creating websites. I am in Portland, Oregon and am interested if there is anyone else in the area who knows Drupal VERY well and interested in doing
some training. I have lots of design and web background, so need the basics of the program only.
i have been using e107, which is a great system, it is. i just happen to like drupal a bit better and see some more possibilities with it. however, don't want to lose all the good stuff from e107. i have the module to pull the users and the forums, but not the other items, like calendar events, etc...
