Converting to Drupal

Hi,

I've just converted my forum from PHPBB to Drupal

When someone posts a comment it loads the first page of comments for that node rather than going to the last comment - is it possible to redirect users to the last comment (so they can see what they have posted) rather than just loading the first page of comments.

Just installed Drupal 6. Completely overwhelmed!

I built a school website using another CMS; very happy with it and it was extremely easy.
But it is based on the older 'news/articles/gallery/forum' model. It is difficult to try to encourage the students to see it as a true interactive resource when most of the dialogue is based around the forums.

I currently use Joomla but my host has mysql version 4.0.16. I am transferring everything to a new host because my host has lousy support and I need to be able to run Drupal. The guy at siteground who did my transfer said this:

"I was not able to transfer over the Joomla database. As it seems the MySQL server on your previous host is an old version and it is not possible to import the exported files on our servers. I have tried using older SQL versions compatibility mode, still to no avail.

I'm planning on moving a new website to Drupal. I still have a lot of ground to cover before I know everything about Drupal, but I'm sure that I will be able to find out most the things I need to know to successfully convert to Drupal.

However, there is one thing that seems to be harder to solve than I expected.
It is essential that visitors can subscribe to a mailinglist, and receive regular mails containing news about the organisation. Those mails should be HTML-formatted with a custom template.
