Let me start off by saying I love Drupal. I put it on my personal site to test the waters and it's fantastic.
I'm a web designer by trade and need something powerful to build large scale sites in no time flat. Drupal seems like the perfect solution for what I need.
Now, I'm a bit curious as to how flexible this thing is. I drew a picture last night in class (Discrete Math SUCKS) with all the different blocks I'd need and the questions I have.

Now that that is listed, let me rewrite the questions I have.
1) Where can I put the admin user links? We don't need a registration system, but I took the user nav out of my site once and it completely messed me up big time! How can I "hide" it through this design? It wasn't designed with any kind of user integration at all, and Drupal needs it on the theme (which I thought was weird, the admin panel isn't directly "split" from the main site).
2) How can I make blocks change per page? Do I create a node? Could I have two nodes on a single page? IE a header node and a content node? Both would need to be written before a full page could be published.
