I’m migrating from WordPress to Drupal for everything except blogging, where I retain WordPress.
WordPress has one thing that I seem to miss, and that is the ability to create pages with custom templates, which is useful for pages that stand alone. What is the Drupal equivalent of creating a page that stands alone with no theme?
hi there, I've designed and coded my site; and installed drupal. Just played around with it for a while but it's pretty confusing. Like for example I dont even know how to link to a stylesheet in it.
I'm wondering if there's any clear and concise tutorials how to do this easily? Or if you guys can help me in some way?
Happy Friday wherever you are. Okay.. potentially silly question. We have a custom built, beautiful Ruby site with very little admin, reporting, user management tools. So.. frontend is all great.. backend not so much. Can Drupal or something similar be used to fulfil just the above.. without fulfiling the 'front end' of the site? Somewhere to view new members, manage them, flagged content, reports etc.. or are we asking too much here?
Drupal site I'm developing involes imports from both Wordpress and vBulletin. Have pretty good solutions working for each now. However, I had to do an import in order to continue development and will have to import again when it's time to go live (to get latest data from both wp and vB).
Here's the question: what queary could I use to empty the db of all the previously imported content, yet not mess up the other tables and other mods I've configured, etc.?
