Converting to Drupal

Hello!

I am looking into (trying) to get a lot of academic research and data online, so that it can be used by other researchers and searched online.

At the moment I have a comprehensive access database, but is there an easy way of getting this onto a drupal site, and then creating a method of searching through the data?

Any help or pointers on this would be fantastic.

I am trying to target the data from "filepath" shown in the results of my print_r:

I'm a Drupal newbie and this is my first post. I've just taken over maintenance of a client's (messy) HTML/CSS/PHP/MySQL site. They want to re-do their site in the coming 6 months or so, and I'm pretty sure I want to build the new site on Drupal. I've just started working my way through the learning process. I have PHP/MySQL experience so it makes sense to me.

I just have created a site for a client in HTML/CSS. He wants to add a CMS to it and I chose Drupal 6 to accomplish the task. I have read some documentation and have made some experiences but am really new in this area and as I have only one week to complete the job I would like to ask for you that are experienced with Drupal some questions to don't waste too much time to develop this project.
