Converting to Drupal

I'm trying to important a load of content into a custom drupal 7 migration. One of the content types I'm importing are news articles. For each article I also want to import a URL alias - basically to do what pathauto does.

Any idea how i can/should go about this?

Hi,
I run a few sites, kind of like shopping carts. I am making a new one. I have toyed around with using drupal due to its said features and security.
I currently have been developing a skeleton of my new site in PHP and mysql. I develop in Eclipse and spend a lot of time on stackoverflow because I am not a TRUE php developer, but I manage to make do.

I have a few basic pages functions I need done.

I want to import a CSV-file with new users. The CSV-file shall also import some "Profile2"-fields for each user in the same line.
I should be able to import new users with normal fields AND "Profile2"-fields in one step out of one CSV-file.

Which D7-module with UI (user interface) can do that?

Okay Im at the final stage where I have all my files I need in my...com/drupal/ directory, but now how do i redirect the old pages to the new ones? the old site is smftutorials.com and the new site will be at smftutorials.com/drupal

Hi everybody,

I have a sequence of pictures that has to be automatically updated regularly. Lets say 4 times per day.

Does any one have a suggestion how to implement this?

I have checked the documentaion (working with images drupal 7) but all I can see is functionality to upload pictures manually.

Do I need some kind of script (cron job?) that collect the pictures from the source and store them in the database?
