Restricting Viewing/Access Of Forums By User Role

Is there a way to restrict what forums can be seen by a given user that is determined by the user's role(s)? I'm basically trying to allow different organizational units to access separate, private forums on the same site, without unauthorized viewing of restricted forums. Thank you.

How to create a resume content type?

I need to create a website (community + job). I have used nf_registration_mod-5.x-1.5.tar.gz to create "employer" and "employee" profiles. Employees have two profiles: social and resume. The test is successful so far.

My resume content type includes, for example:
1. Career Objective
e.g. Become a very good executive.
2. Education (4 fields): a) Institute, b) Degree, c) Passing Year and d) Grade.
e.g. 'ABC University', 'Gradute in Comp. Science', '1998', 3.45
'XYZ University', 'Post-Graduate in Comp. Science', '2001', 3.11

Drupal 6.1 and Browser Compadibility

Greetings Every one,

Well we've started using Drupal a couple weeks ago. Basicaly from scratch. I think we have done good so far. However certain things are becoming a bit difficult to understand. So I came here because I was told that you all were very helpful when it came to dealing with new users of Drupal.

that being said here is my question:

To Group Or Not To Group

I'm working on a project that basically has the following requirements:

a. On registration, a new "group" is automatically generated for the user.

b. The user can then invite additional users to join their new group.

c. When additional user successfully registers, they're automatically added to the previously created group.

Organic groups gives me a core group engine, and the group codes plug-in is a possible solution for (b) and (c) above.
