I want to allow my users to search 'widget node' (fake name of the node) by a specific 3 digit numerical value. Each 'widget node' needs to have a numerical value range (i.e. 600-680). This range can (& most often is) be proprietary.
In a perfect world, I would like to give users the ability to search with an interface much like Kayak.com, at my basic skill-set, unless there is a module, this might be out out the question.
I am an IT illiterate entrepreneur based in London. I am looking for any help or advice I can get to create a Drupal site with look, feel and functionality similar to Yahoo video http://www.yahoo.com/s/830380 for a new business communications venture. I'd like to find a partner who is IT literate (is this the right place to post such a request?)
This sounds like quite an exciting announcement by Youtube, it seems they've massively expanded the power of their API for developers. Essentially letting the worlds web developers use the youtube backend for video storage and bandwidth, while retaining their users on their own website. The player can now be "chromeless", meaning it can now apparently be merged seamlessly into the developers own site, as can the upload functionality and other features.
i am setting up my very first drupal site, version 6.1... fresh down load. but I have a question. I want to add a flash movie, and a good way to include pics to stories. I have looked at my options, and there are quite a few out there. My question is: who out there has any particular raves on how to do this kind of thing? I am looking for a screaming endorsement of a method to do either one. Also, I am doing all the uploading ( the admin) so it does not have to be a common user.
I am building an audio upload site (Drupal 5.7) that will organize user uploads into different sound libraries. For example, there will be a sample library for sound clips, another place where users can upload complete audio files of their original music and so forth.
