I'm looking for a way to upload fiiles to a drupal site via a web service (from a AIR/ flex application actually) and I after some digging, I don't see anything on the forums or in the contributed modules that addresses this, so I though I'd post before we go ahead and develop a module to do this.

I have a multisite setup on site.com, and a test site at site.com/test.

The larger storage is mounted on /wikis, and each site has a directory under it for files.

Drupal file system path is set to /wikis/test
Downlaod method is private.

Default image path is images

/wikis/test/images exists and has the files I've uploaded in it, plus generated thumbnails.

can anybody tell me, how to change the sort order for images in my image gallery. At the moment the images are not sorted by names but by import date. The image which was imported last is in front and vice versa. I thought, views would be an usefull module, but it is not compatibe with version 6 of drupal.

I already searched with google, without success.

Images upload fine but do not display - if I try to access just the image with the browser I get server 500 error.

I suspect that my problem is ownership of the htaccess file in the files directory. I cannot change permissions/content or delete it via ftp. I have tried changing it with php script, it won't have that either.

My host are saying they won't change it for me.

So the question is - can I change this via some other method within Drupal (preferred solution), do I need to find another hosting company, or, is there a workaround?

I am trying to set up a site for my church that will include a podcast page. I want to use Drupal because of the Audio module and its flash player.

The podcast will be of the Sunday sermons that the pastor gives. On occasion we have guest speakers who, for various reasons, ask that their message not be broadcast. I want to be able to tell subscribers/visitors what is going on and why there is no podcast for a given week.
