I have already filed an issue on that in http://drupal.org/node/54008
It is about re-importing a po file after editing some strings in 4.7 (latest cvs). It used to work in 4.6.
The reason that I am posting it again in the Translations forum is that I want verification/reassurance, to know whether the problem is in the code or in my procedure.
In short, has anyone managed to do this successfully in 4.7?
Has anyone:
Please people, I'a Drupal enthusiast and I've had previous chances to appreciate the value of the community, but this topic (http://drupal.org/node/53167) didn't get much attention (0 comments...) it might not be of paramount utility but it's kinda urgent for me... HELP!

There seems to be some, maybe just a few, that do have problems with extracting .po files. I can say that I'm one of those... The problem mostly seems to be lack of knowledge about php (as it is for me).
Isn't there any other way to extract .po files except using extractor.php?
I just want to extract a .po file from a module that not yet has a .po file. Ofcourse the authour should have some interest in making, and updating, a .po file for his module. But even if you have managed to make a functional module there might not be enough time or knowledge to make a .po file.
