Menu Placement

Hi guys, i have recently downloaded the superfish module for my site and am looking to implement it straight away, i first removed my regular main menu and now i want to place my superfish one in, the problem i am having is, i want to place it in a block that exist in adaptive themes, but my default theme is garland and i don't want to change it, is there a way i can use this block in the garland theme, or any method that makes the menu appear in that area of the page.

Thanks!

ZEN VS TAO theme which one is better?

so this guy over here says tao is better but everyone i talked to on the forum so far said use zen

http://brianegan.com/drupal-theming-zen-vs-tao/

he talks about not having to go through firebug and all this stuff just to find out where things are in zen but with tao "if you want to avoid Firebug Purgatory, clean up your code, organize it in a way that’s logical to you, and make sites that are truly spectacularrrrr, the choice is clear: use Tao."

How to add a link to contact the author of a node ?

Hello,

And i would like to add a 'Contact the author' button (for 2 content types) that would link to the user's contact page.
I'm using Bartik, so i tried looking inside the node.tpl file but there is only a $submitted; variable that is printed.
I'm completely new to drupal theming and my php skills are basic.

Can anyone explain how i can print a link to the author's contact page ?

Thank a lot

Omega sub-menu

Hi all

I'm working on a project at the moment which requires a drop down/hover menu on the main menu in the Omega theme. I want this to be purely CSS driven (and don't want to use a module) - essentially I'm trying to get the markup to output as so:

Desired output

Error Undefined index: highlighted in include() at ... modules/system/page.tpl.php

I am suddenly seeing this error and having other theme issues on different themes created with Artisteer. I know how to work with the tpl.php files and the css, etc. I just tried Artisteer to speed things up and then I would tweak the settings myself.
Another site where I see this error, is also not getting any of my themes styling. Strangely, I don't remember changing anything for that site to suddenly start having problems with the themes. Other than upgrading to Drupal 7.20 from 7.19. However, the error didn't show up right after that.

Drupalcon Portland Responsive Approach

The official site of Drupalcon Portland is implemented by adaptive/responsive approach. What modules & themes are used to implement this site?
I'm involved in a project that not also is based on responsive layouts but need implementation of responsive images and inplace editing. Recently configured below theme and modules to fulfil project requirements:
