I have always had this problem changing my theme. The problem is that there is an area between the logo and the main menu. I only use the logo, no slogan or title.
Thanks in advance for any help you can provide with this. I am using an Omega subtheme. My header and content I set the background image in CSS for those zones. For the footer I need to add an image that is as wide as the zones above and then some footer menus below that. So I put my image in the region-footer-first. However, it does not extend to the full width of the zones because of the margins. I added the alpha an omega classes and it removes the margin, but then it leaves 20px of space on the left side of the region. How can I get a region to be as wide as the zones are?
OK, so I'm fairly new to Drupal, we are in the process of migrating the website where I work over to Drupal so I'm relatively familiar with how some of it works. I have read the documentation on getting started and I think I understand the principles. I am front end web designer but this is my first attempt at Drupal outside of work.
I have installed Drupal 7 on my web server and after some research chose to use the HTML5 Boilerplate as my starting point - this I have installed successfully.
I am running D7 with a subtheme called TMS, subthemed from Footheme. I have created a taxonomy vocabulary called Categories that provides a list for users to choose from in each of the content types.
I would like to make the font showing those tags in the teaser and the post smaller and bold.
I like Pix a lot but I'm a little thick when it comes to understanding it. I realize that being triple subthemed creates a level of complexity perhaps beyond me at the moment, but I'm learning. I just try to avoid too much hacking right now to keep things clean.
The problem:
I've installed a theme (Simple Corporate) that doesn't have a block region I want, but the rest is very nice.
I want to create a new region, a horizontal custom form for user infos at the top of the website. [Like other themes "My account/Login" at the top.]
I don't know where to begin. I've seen several topics but no one that solves my problem.
Thanks!
