Theme development

Hi Guys,

Last night I installed and enabled the danland theme on my localhost and now I'm getting the following error:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function danland_page_class() in C:\Users\reakinghavoc\Sites\acquia-drupal\sites\all\themes\danblog\page.tpl.php on line 4

What is this and how do I fix it?

I'm new to Drupal and i'm trying to translate my design (html + css) to Drupal. Problem is that I don't have a clue wich blocks and/or regions I should use.

The frontpage must show 3 teasers and beneath them 4 small articles. When I put them in a view together I can't style them in the right manner. I think the solution lies with regions or blocks. But I don't know this for certain and how to realize it. Some help would be welcome.

I'm a newbie to Drupal, but not to HTML and CSS, and I am trying to get the lay of the land on modifying certain aesthetics that can't be controlled from within Drupal's administrative panel.

To start I want to change the color of my template's header. I have tried updating the style.css file in the .themes\media-responsive... but I don't see anything changing. Is there someplace that I can read up on how to modify the html and css files?

Hi there

I've just uploaded my local site to my host environment. Everything is displaying correctly except for the images. This is not the usual problem like choosing the right public folder. All settings are correct. If I use Firebug to check if the path is generated correcty, I can see that it does so. So the images are loaded. To dig to the problem I've created a new content type with a simple image uplaoder field. Then created a content by uplaoding an image and some random text. But again, all what it is displaying is only the random text without the images.

I didn't know how to search for this, so I didn't find the right solution allthough I think it'S already somewhere.

How can I"Add content" to another div than the content section? I have a slideshow and I want it to appear in the "Slideshow" div, not in the content div. I already added a block to the Slideshow div and now I only gotta know how I can Add content to it?

Today in Drupal, the path "admin / config / development / performance" we can configure the cache of blocks and pages, beyond the lifetime of cookies. And I set them.
In the settings of views is also possible to configure the cache.
However, these caches are not configured to exclude themselves when there is change in the content displayed on pages and views. My question:
