Theme development

I have a site where users login and land on a dashboard. There are private news articles, job postings, forum posts. Is there a module that will allows me to show users a kind of alert or notification icon with a counter much like facebook that will list things are new since last login.

I'm trying to access to a node image field. It's okay when node has image but when ther's no picture, I can't get the default value.

I'm using this to get the picture : {{ file_url(node.field_image.entity.fileuri) }} and I tried a lot of combination to get the default.

Actually I'm working from node--article.html.twig where article is my content type.

Anyone ?

I have added main and "content-wrapper" into page.tpl.php file, now, for a specific node, I need full width section, but its limiting to page wrapper. How can I fix this?http://dev-pshotel.pantheonsite.io/about-us "Our Offers" section should be in full width. Please help.

I have a client who's purchased theme won't scroll in Chrome or Opera.  It scrolls fine in Firefox.  The admin area, Seven theme, does scroll in Chrome, so it does seem to be specific to the custom theme.
