We've found a great location for London Drupal meet ups: Be The Reds is an internet cafe, so both desktop and wi-fi access is available. It's the site of the first Internet cafe in the world, Cyberia, which was sold to a Korean chain three years ago.
This is a drop in event, so no need to book or make any kind of reservation, just come in any time after 6:30 p.m., everyone's welcome. If this meet up goes well, Drupal Drop In - London will be repeated again on the last Friday of every month at the same location.
The last local bugfix meetup was a success so I'm organizing another. Drupal 4.7 is nearing completion and we could use more review before it is released.
We will meet at Ritual Roasters in San Francisco from 1 to 6pm to tackle the issue queue. Stop by whenever you can to help review, test, and create patches. Working in the same space will allow us to collaborate on issues. There is a howto for setting up a test environment.
Any Drupal presence planned at LinuxWorld Boston? It may be too late to get a booth, but it would be cool if there was one in the .org pavilion. It burns me to know that Joomla! will be there and Drupal is not.
I'm planning on attending on one of the days, would be happy to help out in any way I can.
