The League of Tech Voters has a code-a-thon in Austin, TX for advocacy tools. They say "we are gonna lock up 100 programmers for 48 hours and see what kind of open source software they will help write for non-profits!"
It's that time again - time for a Denver Drupal User Group meeting. In addition to the usual "talk about whatever you want" format, Adam Mordecai will be telling war stories and bragging about the new stuff that Advomatic is working on.
Date: Friday 29th September 2006, 6:30 p.m. - 11:30 p.m. Location: BTR (Be The Reds) - 39 Whitfield Street, London (near Goodge Street station) Google map
This month we'll be using websites we've worked on to give real world examples of how the CCK and Views techniques we showed in the last meeting come together to provide common site requirements, problems you'll encounter along the way, and how to solve them.
For anyone who hasn't come before, we'll be easy to spot in our stylish new DrupalCon06 t-shirts ;-)

The Lullabots will be in San Francisco for their upcoming workshops, and they want to meet and greet with all the SF Drupalers! We will meet at 7 pm and chat informally about everything Drupal (and maybe even some non-Drupal topics!). Let us know if you'll be there... and as a bonus, COME MEET WEBCHICK!! :-)
