This is a progressive blog/social networking site. It uses basic Drupal themes because I am not a programmer. However, it incorporates dozens of modules and I think it showcases how well Drupal functions as a combination blog and social networking site. I'd like to present a new(ish) Drupal powered site: Marin Mommies. It's actually been live since the end of February, sort of a "soft launch" situation while we tinkered, added modules, and saw how beta testers reacted to it. Current modules include: banners, adsense, views, service links, FCKEditor, Amazon tools, logintoboggan, taxonomymenu, and a bunch of others. We're planning to roll out a few more features, including the forum (with flatforum), pretty soon.
NoRegifting.com is a site that allows members to create Occasion pages. It is a fun, and polite, way of asking friends and family to give cash, as opposed to 'things'. It's geared toward events where gifts are a must, and can be used to pool resources for a rather large gift (i.e. wedding, honeymoon). The URL:
