I recently got around to setting up a personal website and wanted to know what everyone thought. It was originally just supposed to provide a way for me to search my comic collection from anywhere, but I decided to go for more of a "blog" type format in case I felt like posting stuff that nobody will read. It does have the collection search feature though which I coded up myself with some simple PHP and MySQL, so be sure to check that out since I'm kinda proud of it (it's the "My Comics" link at the top). It even has front and back scans of every book I own (that took awhile).
Right at the moment I have a nice little statue sitting on my desk. The Cedar Cultural Center's web site - http://www.thecedar.org - won the Minnesota Council of Nonprofits award for best Community Convergence nonprofit web site in Minnesota. My company http://www.cruiskeenconsulting.com did most of the design work for the site (but I need to give the trophy to The Cedar later today ).
Member areas (free) will show use of various modules, custom themes, etc. I would very much appreciate any thoughts that you may have and any assistance that can be provided in giving this a test run to see how it is working from a user perspective.
Not long ago I clicked on a URL that took me to a Drupal 5 site with a garland theme, and a transparent picture of a jaguar (car) on it. For the life of me I cannot find this link or how I got to it again. Anybody recall? Thanks..
