Healthcare services company

http://www.accuscribe.net/

This is a small healthcare services company in South Carolina. When Drupal version 5 came out I gladly updated the site from Joomla.

Contributed Modules Used:

XML Sitemap
Webforms
TinyMCE
IMCE
MenuTree

Only other things I need to do is to not display the 'Home' link on the home page and have the blue 'banners' expand better when the text increases size in the browser.

Cooking Cup and ueltje.de both now on 5.1

We've upgraded both www.cooking-cup.de and ueltje.de to Drupal version 5.1. Apart from much easier and smoother operations and a much more flexible theme for ueltje.de, the most important aspect were the increase in performance both sites experienced upon upgrade from 4.7.x

If anyone is interested in knowing about certain modules or how we have done things, just let me know!

Village website

Portal for local parish council for an audience of visitors to the area and residents.

Strong use of Organic Groups and a hacked Directory module.

Had tried Joomla but the coding standard of modules was extremeley variable. I find Drupal modules well written.

The learning curve for Drupal hurt a lot. It becomes intuative - eventually!

marvin.elte.hu - astrophysics meets web2

Okay the topic subject is a bit silly, i dont like this web2 hype at all. But it expresses my intentions well: trying to introduce the advantages of modern webtechnology to researchers.

The website: http://marvin.elte.hu

Content

This site is my hobby project, on which i started to learn drupal. It features several types of information input for professional researchers such as:

  • most important of all: the PhD Comics
  • position offers for undergrad, grad and postgrad students, researchers
  • events (conferences, workshops etc)

It is unique in a sense that I haven't came across with a site on this field that would provide interfaces for user interaction, and user driven content creation.

Modules

The site features several contrib modules:

  • location, gmap
  • stats: google analytics, feedburner
  • event
  • pathauto
  • views

The gmap module helps identify nodes by location (as it was designed to do). I am planning to introduce the node_expire to handle expired position offers as soon the module is available to 5.1. I recently installed the views module, it handles the http://marvin.elte.hu/gatherings page, merging all the items from the gatherings vocabulary.

skyisgrey.org - Plain Theme

http://www.skyisgrey.org

Hi all,
This is my personal blog, recently I just moved from Wordpress into Drupal, thanks to wp2drupal module. And because of this I try to create a new themes. The layout itself was based from Garland themes, I stripped all the images and modified the CSS so it looks very plain right now :)

It is not finished yet but when it done I love to share this theme to everyone.

Feedback are welcome. Thanks.

Dreamy Template now a Drupal Theme

Finally ported my second Drupal Theme.

http://www.openwebdesign.org/viewdesign.phtml?id=3510 -> http://drupal.org/project/dreamy

I'm currently using the theme on my personal blog, and it's getting a lot of praise.

Took advantage of jQuery to hide/show the taxonomy terms.
