I wanted to get my head around Drupal, so I created this site where users can group related links/news together. Users can then rate stories as to how much they belong to a group. While tags do something close, they didn't have the expressiveness that I wanted and it would be difficult to implement a system showing how much a certain story belonged in a group. I picked this as a project because I noticed many sites included comments where users would post related links in text and those were then debated, so why not give that a try for starters? While I was at it, I figured out how to use jQuery (great software!) to make the site a bit more responsive/interactive.

There was an interesting article about GeoCommons (http://geocommons.com) in Business 2.0 magazine. I have checked out their website, clicked on Help and I am looking at a nice Drupal 5 page. Check it out. The company helps to create and share map mashups and geographic data.
