Back in March, when I first converted Ubersoft.net over Drupal, my announcement was promoted to the front page and I quickly learned that shared hosting solutions are not ideal environments for high-traffic, database-intensive sites. I reverted back to my old static pages, took a month to think about what happened, then a brief analysis of what I thought went wrong.
Just wanted to share my second major Drupal site - SixteenFeet.com.
It features my old college acappella group, and is built on Drupal 5. Major modules used are audio, acidfree, ecommerce, and of course, cck, views, and panels. There was a fair amount of hand-coding as well.
Hello everyone. The first Drupal site I ever did is now live! I am a sucker for clean, boring (lol) layouts, that focuses on the content. The site is not %100 completed (because my client needs to gather content and reorganize some stuff). I am some what new to web design, so I am petty anxious to hear what more experienced heads have to say about, my first attempt. Be Brutal, but also constructive. Tell me how I can improve it.
