I'm definitely new to the whole CMS thing, but a couple months ago I started a blog with Joomla. Originally my idea was to document my way to starting an online business so I can quit my corporate day job. After starting out with Joomla (which I have nothing against), I decided to play around with Drupal to see if ultimately it would be a better fit for an eventual commercial site I have planned.

We recently relaunched industry association web site EMVA.org using Drupal. This was a move from a rather old version of Mambo which did a nice job for the beginning of the association's existence, but as the association crew larger and larger and more and more user-generated content by members flooded on the site, a much more flexible and much easier to user web site application was needed.
