Something of a jibberjobber rip-off I dare say -- but I wrote it for myself simply because jobberjobber just doesn't flow smooth enough for the way I track my job-application history. Anyway, the site is for tracking your resume-submissions, subsequent follow-ups, and final results. I'm going to add a section for storing your template cover letters & follow-up letters... and, at the risk of being a bot, have a system where users can setup automated follow-up emails for previous submissions.
Frontierskydivers.com was built using Drupal 5.1. Most content built using contrib modules with some moderate modifications to the Signup module to allow for optional deposits on events and disclaimers. Just went live this morning :o)
I thought it appropriate to showcase this site primarily for its extensive use of Feedapi. Other modules that are working very well for us are WYSIWYG and Panels. Please note that we are using Panels out-of-recommendation on a production site. YMMV. the drop-down menus are suckerfish and built into the theme which is Tapestry.
This site collects news from close to 600 feeds which Feedapi handles with ease.
I tried many different filtering solutions. Publishing only relevant news content is a challenge that can tie the server up in knots. We recently migrated from a php script to simply running sql at the conclusion of every cron run.
I just finished my personal website www.bananacore.com to offer many web services in web development and web design. We are located in Costa Rica, but we can offer our services through the world.
