Post installation

Hi when I make a new user field module (such as the Julia module described in the admin section) the field is there when a user views his/her account. but when they go to edit the account the field is not there! and it also gives this warning: invalid argument supplied for foreach() in C:\mike\modules\user.module on line 981.

My version of drupal is 4.4.

I have a subfolder on my server (Drupal is in root) that I sometimes upload random files when I want to pass along a file to someone. I never create an index file, but just let them browse to the folder and see the files in it. Unfortuntanely, now, when I browse to that folder, I get the Drupal "Page Not Found" error. Is there anyway to disable this for this folder (or all folders I suppose) so that the contents of the folder can be viewed?

I am having a strange error wherein the {taxonomy} function in the lotsagreen.xtmpl (the xtemplate sub-skin) file does not display in the node, inspite of it being present during creation etc. The entire line "

" in the .xtmpl file does not display.

anyone encountered this before !!!

I plan to maintain a couple dozen Drupal sites. I love Drupal. But is there anyway of distributing the configuration of one main site ?

Or is there a way to share the configuration of a particluar site ?

Some sites are set up as:
1. Blog sites
2. Websites
3. Forums

But each site usually has a particular features , permissions how do I carry over the configuration features that were stored in the other sites database ?

So very, very close! Just have one slight problem with my site's forums/comments. If the user has an avatar, no problem. If it's an anonymous user, again, not problem - it replaces it with the generic. The only slight hitch is if they're registered but haven't set up an avatar, in which Firefox and Opera give a polite "NAME'S profile" message, but IE throws up a broken image box. What do I need to alter to have it automatically display a default avatar for registered users?
