Post installation

Hopefully this is the correct place to post this:

I setup drupal 4.4 for a company needing a CMS. It looks great and had most of the features we needed, bar multiple roles per user and node level access. I was pretty pleased when I read the 4.5 status report, so decided to checkout drupal-cvs to act as a stopgap between now and the release of 4.5 proper, just so the designers could get the templates and some content posted up.

my site just "officially" launched today (following a month long beta period) and I'd like to send a copy of the press release we issued to all of our existing members.

what's the easiest/best way to do this?

Hello all, using Drupal 4.4.2. I would like to be able to have a link, that when clicked would open the url in a box to the right of the main content. What I am aiming to do is have a URL to www.biblegateway.org's online Bible. The URL points to a formatted-for-print page of a specified scripture excerpt. I would like that to pull up to the side. Would this require a seperate module to be written?

I have an odd problem of something going wrong with my database.

I have an installation of 4.4.2 to which I've made minimal changes. I've twiddled themes and css a little and added the subscriptions.module, the latest_comments.module, and the urlfilter.module. Nothing at all inventive.

Two times (the first time with 4.4.1) the installation has suddenly stopped working, delivering the following error message instead of displaying the page:

I am using the Gworks theme on my website. I would like to add a different logo on the frontpage (a flash movie actually) and then have another logo for the other pages. I also use the summary module. Thanks!

Hi there,

I've read through a number of posts on avatars on here, but I still can't get the uploaded pictures to appear on my installation of 4.4.0 under RH9. The default avatar appears ok, the pictures upload alright, but nothing else. I'm still working at this issue plus getting banners to come up, so I will keep reading through and learning.
