Post installation

I've searched the site for hours. Now that's out of the way, I have several php scripts installed. All of them work with my postfix mail server. The "only" program not working properly is Drupal. I've read as much as I can, I've downloaded the "quick hacks", I've reinstalled and tweaked on php.ini and still, no drupal mail. tail /var/log/maillog shows little.

I have installed a new Drupal 4.4.2.
I would like to have a section in my site to have MP3 Sound files, Video clips and PDF research archives available to my site visitors. could anyone tell me what module should I use to upload and have those files categorised for the users to download?

I installed "filestore" but it seems like I can not have a taxonomy terms associated with the files.

Can someone please help me find the right module for this job.

Is there a query option to choose between various available themes? Since I don't see a option to assign a theme to a document.

I just installed drupal and imported entries from MT and now I'm testing out comments. When I post a comment i get the following error:

I have a problem. Sometimes (for example when trying to build a menu) I want to make a selection to determine which kind of users may access the menu item. This is what is selectable:

Aministrator
Authentic user
Anonymous user

In this following order in a selectbox. I can select one and I can select all. Hoe to select the first one and the last one? Anyone who knows this one? Also I came accross another problem.

How to select none of them when I did select one or more before in this list?

I posted some 800 pictures with fast upload of image.module. Now I see the file name of a picture as node title. I don't like it. So I want to remove title for image type of nodes (in browser title too as well).

I use chameleon theme. I think the best way to do this to tweak the theme. Can somebody give me a lead?
