Post installation

Hello

I hope this is not a faq, but I just installed 4.5 with pushbutton theme, and from what I understand reading the handbook, static pages are created via page module where I have to enter a link in a corresponding form field. My trouble now is, that the page creation form is essentially the same as the story form, especially there is no link field.

Do I miss something here, an activation or permission issue?

I installed Banner module following the installation instruction, but it did work in drupal 4.5.0.
Must be something wrong, which i am not sure.
Here is my errors:

What are some of the common "node" pages that you can point to in the beggining

in the settings, the default page you go to whenever you access the site...

I attached a comment to a page on the Drupal site. Unfortunately I posted the same message twice so there's an extra copy of the comment. I want to delete the extra comment. How do I delete a comment that I've attached to a page when I don't own that page?

It appears in the users table..under the DATA cell.

I would like to make a menu of links (not in the header) similar to the "secondary links". I don't understand why there isn't a "menu" that you can add with links outside of the site.

I'd like to put that menu of links on the right side of the page similar to the navigation menu, but with links to outside sites.

Can anyone point me in the right direction? I already tried placing the "secondary links" module later on the XTMPL file, without it working, so I'm assuming the secondary links need to be in the "header" section.
