Drupal is up and running but how do I ...?

How to archive RSS feed information

Well, after a couple of weeks we almost have our new Drupal-powered web site up an running. I have noticed something rather interesting. Is there no way to archive rss-feeds? On our existing web site, our rss-feed archive is a very popular page especially when the content is indexed and available via search.

Now, Drupal is a Content Management System. Right? RSS information is indeed content. So, why doesn't this information show up in the archive pages? I won't even discuss the apparent inability of search against the rss content.

menu issues - page creation display issues

I seem to be having a few problems with my menus and also how my pages get displayed. This is quite a long set of questions - cheers for any time put into answering.

PAGE DISPLAY ISSUE

I've essentially made a site with static content. What I want is to make the services / contact / links pages etc all static -I've enabled FCKeditor and URL alias.

I will also have a news / comments section which will be set up for the site to annouce new items / projects. The main page is using front_page - works like a charm. The site will only allow 'pages' to be created at present.

Q1 -How do I get rid of the image that appears on top left (quotation marks)

Q2 -Input type - I'm using fckeditor which is great but the only way that the formatting appears is to put the input type as PHP - the formatting works fine but I get error meesages saying (in admin) saying;
wrong datatype in second argument (obviously becasue I have no PHP tags). - not really a problem for the end user but massive volumes of error messages in admin....

Q3 - access issues
I've enabled access to anon and authorized users in the node module yet when I try to access some of the recently created pages I am told access denied

MENU ISSUE

The menu videography has children under it. I've set up a page called Services (urlalias - services) which I would like to display when anybody clicks on the

How do I set up a link to download the contents of a node?

I would link to place a link at the bottom of some nodes so that people can click the link and download the content of the node as a file. A search for "download node" produced many posts that are not relevant.

How Do I Convert HTML into a Drupal Node.

I have tried just copying it, but when I do that, there is a huge space before the actuall info. What is causing this? I also would like to just link from the drupal sidebar to an html page if I could. Is this possible?

Node taxonomy fails to save

I wonder if this is a bug or I am doing something wrong. There is a problem with assigning categories to nodes. Here is what I have done:

1) Created a vocabulary, enabled for "personal blog entry", related terms, multiple hierarchies, multiple select, but not required

2) Created terms of this tree

Voc1
- Term1
- Term2
-- Term2.1
-- Term2.2
- Term3

3) When I go to post a new blog entry (or edit existing blog entries) the category selection listbox does show up fine. I select one term (tried different ones) and save.

Suggestions for using Drupal to setup Web Services?

Can anyone offer suggestions for using Drupal to access web services? I'm trying to setup a simple portal to show customers how our web services might be used for their own company portals, intranets, whatever. Our basic news web service works by submitting a search query to the service and the service responds with RSS.

Mentaly I'm thinking put the search form for the web service in a block (left or right side) and some now get Drupal to render the RSS response on the rest of the page.
