Post installation

Hi Everybody

I'm a newbie. Just installed 4.6.4 on Freebsd 5.4 yesterday.
I'm using Postnuke now; hoping to move to Drupal.

My question:

I have hyperlinks in my own blocks, and I want these links to open a page in the middle of the Drupal page, and overwrite the Drupal page with a new page, or open in a new browser window (with 'target="_blank").
E.g. \click here/

Is there a way to do this - have hyperlinks in blocks which will open up in the middle column of the Drupal page?

has anyone every tried building a multilingual site with the profile module?

i am using these two functionalities at the same time and running into problems. i want to show profile characteristics on the account creation screen and the user's personal page but the characteristics are not translated and the terms don't show up in the translation interface when searched for.

i have tried ading the "t()" function to the i18n module directly but this messes things up considerably. any ideas how i might accomplish/tackle this?

I've installed flexinode, events, and created a flexinode for creating events. All looks fine and seems to function as intended. All other content on the site has a pull-down for terms (taxonomy) but I can't figure out how to add taxonomy to the new flexinode "New Event".

When someone has a private message that has been unread for some period of time, they get an automated e-mail from me saying:

have
> 1 unread private messages.

When they click on that link they get the following error:

Access denied
You are not authorized to access this page.

It seems to work fine on my local network, but when I connect elsewhere the images come up broken on the main page...

If you click on the link you can see the image appears fine.
