Post installation

Greets all, I would like to know if there are any detailed tutorials for phptemplate. I am not a coder but want to use it since it looks like it will be the norm for 4.7. I just installed it and I am using the 'vbulletin plumbing' (http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showthread.php?t=97341&page=1&pp=15) and would like to know if any one else is using/doing the same with Drupal and Vbulletin that could help give some light on doing so.

How do I get rid of the 'There are currently no posts in this category.' + XML icon ?

Because a situation I often have on my website is that I associate a page or a story with a certain taxonomy term, without adding further content to it as well.

You then get situations like this :

I have Gallery2 integration working and it is nice but the default Gallery them doesn;t fit very well, too much busy information and huge fonts.

I would absolutely love, love love Siriux to be my them but the moment you click on an image in your gallery the Navigation block for Siriux explodes to the width you have defined for image display. Heh then I have a600px wide Navigation :) Any way to fix that in the CSS or code?

What them do you recommend, samples out there?

Throught drupal.org there are menus at the side in those nice rounded boxes. These appear conditional as do the choices within them.

I would like to find out how to create these and fill them conditionally with content, just like on drupal.org.

I foolishly deleted these blocks early on b/c when I tried to place them, they appeared with the "Primary Links" or "secondary links" title. Is there a way to display these blocks without their titles?

Perhaps slightly OT but I'd like to use .htaccess to allow access to only drupal/flexinode/table/2, all other nodes requiring basic auth. Does anyone know if this is possible? Don't want to mess up .htaccess which does short URLs really well plus basic auth.
