I managed to get drupal up and running, but I'm trying to customize the home page further then how it is now. Basically, I have excerpt installed and would like to do the following
Category 1
------------
Story 1
-Full excerpt here
Story 2 (just the title)
Story 3 (Just the title)
etc...

I am trying to make it so that when you look at a users account you see all of the information that I set, in the order that I set it, as you can see here "http://thefreakchild.com/Drupal/?q=user/5" it isn't that way. I want it so that the "name" line to be first followed by the rest of the personal information, and then the internet information. I don't know if that made any sence, but if it did please help me.
Is there an easy way (module, script, whatever) that will take an existing HTML site and convert it to a stand-alone HTML hierarchy? I'm thinking of something that could traverse all the nodes, generate the HTML output, then write it to a file using each node's URL to form a directory tree.
All of a sudden when I click on home and back to my home page drupal appears to log me out. my name disappears from "who's on", i lose my admin menu access, and i see the login screen.
but if i click on forums or sections or any other menu item, i get logged in, my name is back, and i have all my admin menu choices.
i tried nuking the sessions table and that didn't work. couldn't find anything in search.
Illegal offset type in /home/warrenco/public_html/banner_db.php on line 19.
i have done lots of searching and have tried everything. i have changed the /tmp to tmp directory and created it and given it and files directory 777 ch mod.
i also can't make any images appear in a block even though they show up in preview and the mime is correct and everything else suggested in the docs and on here.
Any ideas would be helpful before i need prozac. :-)
