Post installation

I ran my Drupal site from a subdirectory in my domain for a few months as I put it together, however, since I moved it to the root directory, it still wants to look for that old subdirectory. I renamed that directory to no avail, I still have it looking their occasionally and my RSS feed doesn't work from the root location. Any ideas are greatly appreciated.

I need to generate list (like internal phone book) from custom fields defined for in user profile. Ideal output should look like table:

Name----------- Phone------------Mob Phone
Jan Smith +371-1111111 +371-2222222
......

I wonder weather there is some ready made module for this, or some code samples, how to do this.

I'm getting an internal Server Error when I tried to access http://www.shreemaa.org/drupal

when I move the drupal .htaccess file aside, everything works.
I've looked in the htaccess file and can't isolate the problem.

anyone have ideas to fix the drupal htaccess so I can see my site?

When I try to upload images in the my account -> edit menu, I seem to get the following error displayed on the top of the contents column:

* File copy failed: source file does not exist.
* Failed to upload the picture image; the pictures/ directory doesn't exist.

And in the admin error log I will see:

* For /tmp/phpLhHQuw the system thinks its MIME type is application/octet-stream while the user has given image/pjpeg for MIME type
* For /tmp/phpLhHQuw the system thinks its MIME type is text/plain while the user has given image/pjpeg for MIME type

I recently set up Drupal and a newbie.

I am using Druap 4.6, PHP 5.1.1 and mysql 5.

I have done some basic setting and can see my blog site, but unable to see login interface (login and password textbox).

I have to do /q=user/register to go to the login/register page to login.

How can I enable login interface.

Also is there any site where I can get concise info to do basic settings. Drupal Handbook probably has all the information, but its spread out.

If I can all the steps to start say small community site... it would be just great.

Is there a way to make storys or blog posts appear in their entirety on the front page without needing to click on the "read more" link below the post? I can't find a place where this is controlled, but I could be just overlooking it. I hope my question is clear :)
