Forgive me but I'm finding it hard to get my head around a particular problem. What I want to do is provide a means for my users to submit individual stories that will then appear aggregated on a page of my choice (not the front page -- that's being used as a summary). I've read the handbook and browsed the forum but I'm still stuck.
hi! I've a problem that's been bugging me, and was hoping someone could help me out..
I manually added some users (instead of using the import.php because I don't remember my mysql db passwords) using phpMyAdmin (into table users) and it seemed to work right. When a new user requests a logon, it fails.
I made a silly flub and enabled clean urls while away from my computer. I'm unable to set up ModRewrite on my server where I am now, but I would like to be able to disable clean urls. Is this variable stored anywhere in the MySQL database that I might access it remotely and change it back?
I'm a Drupal rookie in need of a little help.. I have installed Drupal 4.6.5 installed on my main site and testing server & everything has been going well so far, I've even managed to knock up a newswire block out of some PHP snippets I found on here :-) however..
I've got stuck with the PHP/SQL for a story based block I'm trying to create..
I have installed the Guestbook module and it is working fine. But I only wan't to use the site guestbook. Any way I can disable the creation of user guestbooks. Not just hiding them but preventing them from ever being created in the database.
Any aother solution for a simple anonymous guestbook would be welcome.
I am pretty new to Drupal, but not new in the open source CMS packages / bloging packages. So far I really like what I see so I will start off by saying thanks for this great piece of software!
I was wondering if there is a way of having comments on the profiles. I've searched for this on the drupal site, but can't really find anything about this. What I am looking for is an orkut like scrapbook. Or just comments. I think they would be sufficient.
Is there a module for this? or an option I am overlooking? or just not excisting?
