Drupal is up and running but how do I ...?

I just lost all my blocks

hey everyone-

I was exploring the block module and suddenly I have lost them all! I am using 4.6.5. I have been having possible cracking issues, so I changed my sql passwd. But everything was working fine....until

Also, I get this error: Unknown column 'visibility' in 'field list' query: INSERT INTO blocks (module, delta, status, weight, region, visibility, pages, custom, throttle, types) VALUES ('user', '3', 0, 0, 0, 0, '', 0, 0, '') in /home/shojo/public_html/includes/database.mysql.inc on line 66.

help.

Use pathauto bulk update with care

And, may I add, empty your database tables with care? I just emptied the url alias table instead of repairing it and nearly 500 aliases vanished. Still not sure if this should have happened.

To get back to pathauto, I ran bulk update as a quick way out of my predicament. The update went well for category path settings. But, I remembered too late that there is a bug in the way bulk updates applies to nodes. And, that is:

Getting Snippet to be print friendly

Trying this again: I found this wonderful Book Block Snippet http://drupal.org/node/44648 could be used in a book page as embedded php-- gives a Table of Contents which I don't have to keep updating every time I add new content to the book.
The only trouble is when you click 'print friendly' all it shows is the php snippet, not the table of contents. I know it's just missing a php phrase or something to appear in the print friendly form. What do I do to make it compatible to the Book Module's print friendly settings?

Shorten long hyperlinks automatically

I am using a fixed-width website. The problem with this is whenever users post a long hyperlink, it messes up the whole page. Is there a way where I can automatically convert longer hyperlinks to a short ones.

If user paste following link into the post:
http://wwwuk.kodak.com/global/en/service/downloads/dln_ekn030484.jhtml?p...
I want it to appear as:
http://wwwuk.kodak.com/... .../3905/7475/7493/7494

manage muliple drupal installations from single web interface

I have about 23 Drupal installs that I have to have some day to day grasp of what's happening with each. Is there a simple or already made system or module for this? has anyone encountered this kind of need.

I need to monitor content waiting for moderation as well as hits and page views. Anything here would be helpful. thanks.
