Post installation

I'm looking to show an entire node (of type "page") on the front page of my site.

The only thing I can get it to do right now is show the shortened version with a read-more link.

I hope I am not breaking the rules here by posting this again. I am new to posting module issues versus posting forums. I created two issue/bug posts but maybe the general public can assist. Can anyone make a recommendation as to how to resolve these? They are creating road blocks to my site development.

I am almost finished with my new Drupal-site (OK I still have to move it from test to reality) but there is one thing that I have a problem with and that is the book-review module. The synopsis of the book is set as teaser but you do not get a "read-more" link. Which I really would like to get so that the page is acting the same way everywhere. Anyone who can tell me what I need to change in the module to get a read-more link?
