Hi alll,
Iam new user to the drupal
iam going to build aluimni site,
so please help me what are the modules that should be used.
if you can help i can implement using suggested modules.
so please as soon as possible help me
I've been able to get this working on other areas of my site, but I'm having trouble getting the members module to display only say 20 members per page and then have a "next" and "previous" link to view the rest.
can anyone help me out with this?
Thanks!
I've been looking at the various mail list manager solutions around and have yet to settle on one. I know there is lots of discussion on each particular solution, but I'm looking for help in choosing which way to go. Could people report here on what mail list managers they have working in Drupal 4.7, and maybe comment on what it took to get there?
Let me summarize my experiences so far. None of these are complaints, just observations, so correct me if I've missed things:
simplenews works out of the box. Doesn't handle bounces tho, which I consider important.
massmailer is techy to setup. I expect it works well on the system(s) it is developed on, but took some serious tweaking to get it sort-of working under 4.6, and it isn't 4.7 compatible yet
CiviMail. This looks like a pretty heavy duty solution, but the docs on setting it up are lenghty and sketchy. Not for the faint of heart, but may be worth the trouble if you have heavy duty needs
MLM requires Exmlm (and, I presume, qmail) . I haven't tackled that yet
There is a mailman module around, but I don't think it works with 4.7
The threshold to just do some simple tests is pretty steep in most cases. For smallish lists, I'd go with simplenews. But I can't be handling bounces myself for a large list.
Does anyone (besides the authors ) have a success story with any of these and 4.7? Thanks!
Is there a way to intergrate the Google Calender output, like the iCal of RSS file, in Drupal?
So i can manage the calender with Google and can see the events in Drupal, that would be great because Google Calender realy rocks.
