Drupal is up and running but how do I ...?

Settings changes won't save - Page Not Found instead

I've just installed Drupal 4.6 and most features seem to be working properly (As far as I can tell). Except the settings page, whenever I make changes on this page, and attempt to 'Save Changes', I get a 'Page Not Found'. In the logs I can see the '500.shtml not found' entry.

Maintenance Mode - how to get back in!

Sorry for the really dumb question, but I have been playing around with 4.7. I put the site into maintenance mode and can't figure out how to get back into it! I seem to be having a blonde moment :(

While I am at it, how do I or where do I look to, to customise the down for maintenance screen...

Thanks in advance....

Question about Taxonomey

I am a new Drupal user. I am looking to build a new online community and I starting to feel that Drupal would be the best tool for that job. I am starting to put my site together but am having some problems deciding on the Taxonomy structure.

My site will be broken down into sections (nothing new there). The will look something like this: -

  • Books
  • Music
  • Movies

No problems there I have created this is a Taxonomy called 'Site Category'.

I have installed the a new nodeType called Review (using the review module). I would like to create a specific taxonomy for reviews, 'Review Type' , that relates to the parent 'Site Category' taxonomy. The 'Review Type' taxonomy can only be specified for review nodes. The 'Review Type' taxonomy would look like this.

  • Book
  • Film
  • DVD
  • Album
  • Gig

I know that I can specify what nodes a taxonomy relates to, but I would like to create a hierarchy, so that specify 'Album' would mean that this review node, is related to the 'Site Category' taxonomy 'Music'.

If I simply make 'Site Category' a hierarchy and create these The 'Review Type' in that hierarchie, I will no longer be able to restrict there use to the Review nodeType.

If I have them as separate Taxonomy's I don't see how I can relate them, and in my 'Nooks' section include all

Creating new "My Account" link

Hey,

Is there any way I can create a My Account link in the primary links (accross the top of my site) that would be relevant for each user?

such as a link to www.site.com/user/[user number]

I would like to get rid of the navigation block and just have primary and secondary links to simplify my site for users.

Any help greatly appriciated!
