I am sure there is this dark cloud that always appears over me when working with new software!
Here's the scoop. I turned site-maintenance on so that I could do ... well ... site-maintenance. Now that I am finished I have turned off site-maintenance (or turned on the ability for the public to view the site again) ... HOWEVER, I still get the site-offline message. Any ideas what may cause that?
I may have the on / off wording turned around as reflected on the admin screen, but the setting is now set so that the public may view ... but they can't. Argggh
I am noticing I'm getting some visits from Seoul originating IPs quite regularly. Mostly from Universities. They are attempting to access things like...oh, just the usual...my MySQL database, phpMyAdmin...you know, things like that. They're popping in directories and paths to try to see what is on my system. I'm running XAMPP and Drupal 4.7. What are the areas I can check to make sure they can't get in? I'm very new to all of this but it was fun to setup. I'm no MySQL or PHP guru, but I don't want to get hacked ;)
Can anyone briefly state the maximum default file upload size for 4.7 and give step-by-step process to increase the maximum file size on both apache and in drupal 4.7 for a dimwit.
Is there any way to redirect the results page for the feedback form? The form works fine and everything, but after submitting, I'd rather not have it go back to my front page.
