Post installation

Hi, I have simplenews installed and everything seems to be fine except when I try to send to subscribed users. I can successfully send to the test override email with no problems and the content included in the newsletter seems to show that it is sent (green ticks). Please help as I'm at a loose end and have searched the forums/handbook etc. for the solution.

i'm using the img_assist in connection with the tinymce-editor. because i'm using the plugin of the img_assist for tinymce which handles the access rules itself, i can disable all image and img_assist access rules. ok, so here comes the problem:

I have gone through every setting in 4.7 and can't find an option to disable public registration? Is this option available?

If not disable, maybe admin approval or something.

Lets say I want to display my own story node links in a block across my entire site. I assume that I would use aggregator to do it, just calling the right RSS link into aggregator and sticking the block in thr right place. I have the refresh time set to 15 minutes for each of the feeds, I have a cron job running every 6 hours so it doesn't update right away.

It works as intended for new content and can be verified if I run a cron manually after each new node is posted (if I wait 15 minutes).

After site was up and running I enabled the taxonomy module and I created some taxonomy.

Now I want to edit nodes and assign taxonomy to them--but the taxonomy isn't showing up when I'm editing a node. Nor does it show up when I'm creating a new node?

I have taxonomy working in other 4.6 installations. Don't know what is wrong here.

Any hints about solving this problem.

The site should have extended security options.

The user shouldn't be registered at once, but user register application should be approved by two(!) already registered users. During registration a user chooses his two referers from the list of existing users. Chosen referers get e-mail or private messages about pending registration and must approve the applicant.

This double confirmation procedure can be either used not for moving a user from anonymous to authenticated role, but for adding any other special role to existing authenticated user.
