Post installation

i am using CCK to construct complex content type:

object is combined from some common fields plus some NodeReferences fields that are points to different nodes.
the problem is when those nodereferences has the SAME name (different type for sure). so autocomplete feature writes them into database with the same ID. what leads to wrong nodereference assignement.

when using «Select List» the problem is not appears. but there is another: how can i left the fields empty?

K, i just updated the event.module, when i try to create an event in the 'create content' link, its not there? Flexinode is installed, still, no create event link, where do i go?

Some how the create event disappeared in the Create content link. Please help.

I'm sorry, I don't really know where to place this, but I forgot how to edit the text above the 'register' form. Could you tell me the location?

I have set up drupal 4.7 and want to promote it to our company's website. I want it to function in a ways that if someone types the url
www.xyz.com/drupal he should be redirected to the first page of drupal rather than the login form but as he is not a registered user he should not be able to edit anything. Can anyone help me out with this? thanks.

what is the best module for users to upload documents? If possible I need something more elaborate than the core upload module - more of a gui that shows the users upload directory. I tried the "filebrowser" module, but it did not show any documents for whatever reasons. Plus, I do not know if it is possible to have a specific directory shown to different users.
If there is not a very good drupal module at the moment, does anyone know of a very good open source, web based linux program that will do these things?
