Post installation

Has anyone other than me noticed that with 4.7 it is sometimes very difficult to update content? (I upgraded from 4.5)

To update a node, I've got to force refresh the "edit" page before editting, and after editting even though I see "node updated", it doesn't really get updated unless I ctrl-refresh the node. Similar steps are sometimes required to change admin settings...

1)I want to create my content...which has tables in it...so i tried to add table tag of html...but could not find that...how can i do this in drupal

2)I also want to create a content which has figures in it...how can i do that...plz dont give the idea of uploading my file

I've noticed the content of 'data' field in the 'user' table, for example:

a:3:{s:6:"submit";s:18:"Create new account";s:7:"form_id";s:13:"user_register";s:5:"block";a:1:{s:11:"syndication";a:1:{i:0;i:1;}}}

I don't understand the meaning of this string, the use of branches and, above all, the use of patterns like:
a:3
s:7

Anybody knows about that?

i want anonymous user to view my site's first page with dropdown menus along
with the content in the dropdown menus...so i have checked the permissions in
access control for node module>>acess content and adminsiter node and also
administer site configuration...so it satisfies my need..but along with this i
can also content,modules,settings,themes block also...i tried to uncheck
alternatively some of permissions in access content..but i m not able to hide

Hi..

I've just installed Drupal 4.7. All is OK, but I've a prob with the search engine.

For example : the word "problems" is in a page.
If I type "problems" in the search engine, it's OK but if I type "problem" or "problem*", the search engine does not match any result.

Is it normal ? Have you a solution ?
