Drupal is up and running but how do I ...?

Users can't edit their own posts.

One of my users said he couldn't edit his posts.

First thing I checked, is access control, and it turns out that edit own posts wasn't checked. So I thought, "stupid mistake" and checked it for both user roles, and for authenticated users. So now the only group that does not have this checked is anonymous user.

Then I log in under my test user ID, create a post, and try to edit it. But I can't. When I view the post I just created, the "view" and "edit" tabs at the top do not appear.

Posted by and Date of; Rearange the links?

(Posted on behalf of Georgi Jivankin)

I am new here, but I use Drupal 4.7.1 for one website and I have some issues with my site.
I will be very happy if someone help me.

1. I installed Drupal 4.7.1 and I've configured the most options, but posted by and date of posted information doesn't appear. It appears when I create an appropriate page with content, but when I publish the page, authoring information do not appear, only the category of posted content is showed on the page.

Multiple images posts

Fitness Center weekly recurring schedule

Hi,

I want to know if there are any existing ways in Drupal to create a recurring weekly schedule for a fitness center?

The criteria for the schedule is as follows:
- the schedule repeats weekly
- changes are made once or twice per season
- there are 2 class rooms, and classes overlap in time slots (e.g. 2 classes will happen both at 9am - see example below)

Changing Where Blocks Display Based on Node Type

I was wondering if there was an easy way (probably not, I know) to change where a block displays based on node type?

For example, I want the "Recent Blog Posts" block to display on all nodes. However, whether I want to display the node on the right or the left depends on what node I'm looking at.

Help Enabling Clean URLs?

I recently installed 4.7.2 in a new domain on bluehost. I went to enable clean URLs and got a 404 screen when trying to access tburgnews.com/admin/settings. I have RewriteEngine on. My domain is an addon domain, meaning it is a subdirectory of my main account. Enabling RewriteBase / makes no difference. The Bluehost support people only suggest asking the Drupal community for help.

Here are the relevant sections of my .htaccess file (which is in the subdir I installed Drupal).

# Various rewrite rules.

RewriteEngine on

# If your site can be accessed both with and without the prefix www. you
# can use one of the following settings to force user to use only one option:
#
# If you want the site to be accessed WITH the www. only, adapt and
# uncomment the following:
# RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} !^www\.example\.com$ [NC]
# RewriteRule .* http://www.example.com/ [L,R=301]
#
# If you want the site to be accessed only WITHOUT the www. prefix, adapt
# and uncomment the following:
# RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} !^example\.com$ [NC]
# RewriteRule .* http://example.com/ [L,R=301]

# Modify the RewriteBase if you are using Drupal in a subdirectory and
# the rewrite rules are not working properly.
RewriteBase /

# Rewrite old-style URLs of the form 'node.php?id=x'.
#RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
#RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
