Drupal is up and running but how do I ...?

Ecommerce + Subproducts installed but cant use them

Im very happy that ecommerce 4.7 has launched today but the subproducts module is enabled but i cant see it! You cant use it on your products. Also what happend with appreal items? They removed that. How is it possible to add a appreal item with sizes and a image on top of it?

Url in content not working, how to turn on "auto url"

I have searched for "url not working on page" and similar, but all I find is info pertaining to clean url's.

Problem 1:

When I write a url, say http://www.yogayak.com/drupal the link when should on Drupal.org will "link" not needed any extra work. I believe, either in some theme or version, I had this "turned on" on my site... but don't anymore?

How do I make simple urls typed in actually link out?

Problem 2:

Reinstalling the forum modules

Not sure where it all went wrong but I'm having a problem installing the forum module.

Basically, I had a look through the database and the tables weren't there! I just upgraded to 4.7.2.

I've also tried installing the forum tables manually, cutting the SQL and running it as a query but no joy.

Any advice on how I can reinstall the forum?

Thanks
Ken

forum moderator, limiting file uploads only to forum and disabling for blogs

hi, i've setup a test drupal site, and plan to move all my users over to it,

but i have two major problems that i haven't solved.

1. is their anyway to allow file attachments in posts/forums but not in blogs?
it seems the access control only allows for all or none.

2. is their anyway i can setup seperate moderators for certain forums, and seperate group of users with access to only certain forums? again to me it seems it seems the access control only allows for all or none.

thanks.

Can I build a database front end with Drupal ?

I want to build a CMS + Database front end application.

Drupal looks great (security, menus, CMS...) but can I add an Oracle database front end (Query, update, delete) inside a Drupal site ?

I've not seen informations on this subjects.

Thanks in advance,

Gilles
