Post installation

My site is hosted by a hosting service. I'm using PayPalPro module with ecommerce. I have "use ssl" enabled in PayPalPro settings. When trying to finalize a PayPalPro transaction, I get an error message from both FireFox and IE browsers that there is a domain name mismatch when the ssl certificate is used. (The certificate contains the domain name of my hosting service and my domain name is of course different.) I click "OK" to try to ignore the message and I'm directed to a web page at my web hosting service. What can I do to get past this problem?

I ´ve recently started to check out drupal and think it´s very nice. I have one problem i cannit solve, wich is userregistration from outside. I have joomla setup working nicely for userregistrration. It sends mail through my isp´s smtp-server. I expected it to work as easy in drupal, and have set the site-email-adress and so in the admin_config.

Is there something i´ve missed? I only get a white/blanc page after sending the registration.

It´s running on a fedora5-server, fully updated.

(Drupal 4.7) Wnen I log a can reach every element in administer menu (block, contact form, forums, fotogallery, category, commentary) exept menus and modules. How can this happen and how to fix it?

the new ecommerce modules seem to be much easier to install on 4.7...

only problem i am having is that i can't turn off the shipping address bit for mp3 purchase/downloads...

couldn't find anything on this when searching forums either...

also,

could someone explain to me in simple easy terms that a musician can understand, ha ha on how i should set up my file directory to make it reasonably secure?

i noticed something about placing the "files" directory so it is accessible by drupal yet not to the web? what does that mean? there was also a warning under the setting that if site is already set up to not change it or it will break unless you know what you are doing? ok that scared me enough to not change it! ha ha...

should i change it? does that mean all my photos and other crap will have to be re-uploaded if i change it?

can we have some discussion about what a band or musician would like to have implemented on the ecommerce/audio module front?

i ask because some things overlap or are in the realm of other modules or responsibilites of various people... and in the limited time i have had using drupal there seem to be some important needs that are gettiing overlooked...

one of these needs are:

2 files for the audio module. 1 file would be a short sample and/or of lower quality (for example a 128 mp3 instead of 192 mp3) the higher quality full length mp3 can be reserved for registered users or people who BUY the song.
