Ok i'm stumped... how are members notfied that other members have added them as a buddy within the buddylist module? I can add buddies all day long, but they don't get notified.
I have private messaging turned on... are they supposed to get a private message in their inbox? the module says they'll get notified the next time they log in, but they don't get a message displayed when they do long in or anything like that. what am i missing?!?
I've looked - there aren't any current bugs submitted on this, so i'm supposing i'm just doing something wrong.
I'm sure this is possible, but after living in the forums for many hours I'm inclined to break down and ask for some guidance. I have a drupal site set up that covers many topics, of which gaming is one. A few of my friends have blogs set up that really only discuss gaming. My question is, how would it be possible for me to place a block (i.e. recent posts, recent blog posts etc...) that originates on my site, that is the content is mine, on the blogs of my gaming friends. That way, when a topic about gaming is updated on my site, the visitors on my friend's sites can also see the update.
I've just installed this a few days ago, and I'm working on converting a community swim club site. I don't see how to add links inside page content, for things like maps, or email, or even to other pages in the site. I'm sure I'm missing something easy, does anyone know how?
i have the search module installed and put on my pages as a block, the search block is visible in firefox but isnt in internet explorer, infact the code for the seach form isnt there - does anybody know what is going on
