Post installation

I want to enable users to simultaneously register and post content (in the same form - one click) - avoiding the hassle of pre-registering and pre-validating their email address before they can post their content. But I only want to publish content from users that have a valid email address...

i've posted related questions on here before... but i'm starting to realize that i need a "bigger picture" perspective on how to solve these problems as there are so many inter-dependencies and caveats (that is probably not the right word) and work arounds on the solutions i have tried before...

for example, i want to allow downloads of all the songs we make over a years time to people who buy the whole album... and if i make audio downloads available to this user type then i get a "download" link placed on my audio playlist regardless of user type viewing the site!

so, if i describe what i would like to actually do with our drupal band site, some of you drupal gurus can suggest a solution that i can work to?

so, i am in an unsigned band, http://NoteToSelfDontDie.com/ , and we would like to:

1) offer a few "free" songs to download to registered users (registration is free)

1b) allow "samples" of songs to be played to anyone

2) sell individual and 2 or more if possible mp3 downloads using paypal or google checkout?

3) sell "album" download at special price

4) include an email account on one or another sites we own to people who buy the "album"

5) allow people who buy the "album" the freedome to download new mixes/new versions of songs from the album or even new songs that we write for up to a year from date of album purchase

6) maybe have a special "album" price and another price for "album" and email account yearly subscription

Hi, i've installed drupal in the past few days, and I was wondering why my menu won't expand like it's supposed to? The only way I can get it expanded is to check the expand always option which I don't want cause it would make the navigation damn long.
