Drupal is up and running but how do I ...?

Publish a story to a static page?

Hello:

I am new to Drupal and have been learning as I go....which is tough since I am used to the "old-school" way of building a webpage. My question is this: I have created a static page. How do I go about publishing stories to that static page? Basically the static page is a current events page, and I want everything I publish to that page, to look like a separate event. So I figured there has to be some way to publish a new story to that static page.

Any help that anyone can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

List of Posts/Comments in User Profile

Drupalers,

When I get to a person's user profile, I'd love to see a list of links to posts and comments that person has authored.

I have the profile module installed -- though it doesn't seem like it has this feature.

access denied to autocomplete

I've setup a new user to add content to the site, but they keep getting access error to the autocomplete function

warning access denied 02/01/2007 - 00:41 user/autocomplete/matthias denied access. matthias view

that's the line I see in the admin area about their access problems.

How do I fix this? (give them access to autocomplete).

Statistics modules?

Hi,

just wondering if there's a better statistics module than the standard system stats? I've had a look through the modules but haven't found anything to suit me.

I would like something that can report on visits and individual visists in summary form, and also preferably on bandwidth usage.

Suggestions welcome!
