I have recently added TinyMCE and IMCE to my new install of drupal 5.1 but cannot see the editor when I create a page or story.
In Modules, I can see that both modules are enabled, and in Permissions, all functions for TinyMCE and IMCE are enabled for both anonymouse and authernticated users.
In Site Configuration, I have entries for both modules, and for TinyMCE I can see that it Full Editor mode is selected, and is enabled for page, story, blog node types.
I must be missing something, because I still cannot see Tiny MCE when I write a page or story.
I am new to Drupal and would like to store information on members logging in to my website. I am aware of the Profile Module but the interface requires some pretty controls which I have already written in php and html. Are there any security issues I should be aware of in creating and using a table directly in the underlying Drupal database - then just referring to it from my php code?
I have categories being displayed in the front page teasers on my web site www.salperalta.com, but can't find the configuration option to enable/disable this option. I know this is the easiest thing in the world to do in Drupal, but for the life of me, I can't remember how to do it, and haven't been able to find it in the documentation. Is there a non-base module that I need to install? Any pointers to helpful information will be greatly appreciated.
I'm trying to integrate my Drupal forums to a mailing list as well... I've got all thats needed - The Mailman Manager, Mail Handler.. All I need now is a Mailman - List creating module to be compatible with the version of Drupal I've got.
The ones posted dont seem to be compatible... Does there happen to be anything else that I can use / do ?
I just upgraded to Drupal 5.1. (I also have 4.7 running)
So I created a new database and I installed drupal. And everything works.
But in my phpMyAdmin there is only the old database:s Not the database from 5.1.
So there is just no database of drupal 5.1.
Just done a little w building a first Drupal site. Using 5.1, which seems way more impressive than when I looked at Drupal over two years ago (and got scared off by "nodes" etc).
Using on Mac; Firefox mainly - fckeditor works w this.
Using fckeditor (with IMCE); and all looked well in editing screen, but a photo I added not appearing on pages.
