This forum is for questions about upgrading an existing Drupal site. Don't forget to read the UPGRADE.txt file that comes with every Drupal download.

should i bother to uprgrade from 5.x to 6.x?

Hello, I currently have a drupal 5.x site up and running with uber cart installed and working correctly. I noticed ubercart is only only for 5.x and not 6.x. My site relies on ubercart so, should I bother to upgrade and lose ubercart for the sake of security?

-Thanks,
Rich

Uploading images

Well, I've got Drupal 5.7 up and running on my site.
I was reading through the handbook (getting-started_2.pdf) to get started when I ran into a bit of trouble...
I'm trying to upload images.

page 31 has this to say...

Enable content types for uploads
Create content
Attach file - uncheck List file, copy file path under the box once it's uploaded.

Just updated from 6.1 to 6.2 using Fantastico.... NOT so fantastic

I prolly should have just left it alone since I just went live with the site... but I didn't.

Can someone tell me what went wrong... or more importantly, how to fix it?

Upgrade to 5.7 - open_basedir and files directories errors

I just upgraded my Drupal from 5.3 to 5.7 following the upgrade instructions in the Handbook. I did the upgrade by installing 5.7 in a fresh directory and trying to follow the instructions for copying files from the 5.3 directory. After upgrading, I see the following errors:

Module GMAP in drupal 6

I want to upgrade my website from version 5.7 to 6.2, but I use the Gmap module for some informations.

How can I resolve this? I've search this module in drupal 6 but nothing.

Thanks

Is my site combatible with Drupal 6? (module idea)

I think it would be a great idea to have a module that shows if a site is compatible with Drupal 6. I like how the Update Status module lists all your modules on one page. The ones that are up-to-date are green and the ones with newer releases are red.

I would love to have a D6 compatibility module similar to the Update Status module. It would show all the currently enabled modules on one page. The modules that are available for D6 would be green. The modules that are in beta for D6 would be yellow. The modules that are not available for D6 are in red.
